Because of its brevity and the multifaceted information that it supplies, the EQ-i can be used by employers as a screening tool in hiring to select emotionally intelligent, emotionally healthy and potentially successful personnel. Supplemented by other sources of information, such as interviews and the results of other assessments, the EQ-i can make the employee recruitment and selection process more reliable and more efficient. |

The EQ-360 |
| |
|
| |
A variation on standard EQ-i® tool, the EQ-360® provides a more rounded view of an individual’s emotional and social skills by gathering additional evaluations from those who work closely with him/ her.
The EQ-360 is ideal for use in organisations where developing effective communication between individuals, teams, and the entire organisation is crucial to success. While an effective tool to use in a variety of contexts, it has particular relevance for leadership coaching and development. Leaders and their coaches gain a more comprehensive picture of areas for improvement. The EQ-360 identifies key employee strengths that can be leveraged to the benefit of the organisation, as well as impediments to high performance that could be improved.
