Wan Leng is the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Consulting Officer of Optimal Consulting Group Pte Ltd for Asia since 2002. Wan Leng brings with her more than three decades of educational, consultancy and corporate HR experience. She grounded her HR consulting experience with extensive business as well as operational responsibilities for two leading international consultancy firms. Thereafter, Wan Leng widened her scope with key regional and global roles in leading corporations - first as an Asia Pacific Director with a Fortune 100 multinational organisation covering 10 countries and then as a Global Vice President for a global shipping & logistics corporation covering 50+ countries.
Wan Leng has led and managed regional as well as global HR operations, thus giving her breath and depth in various people management related areas from individual to teams to organizational effectiveness and from executive compensation to talent assessments to e-HR systems. Wan Leng brings both technical and business perspectives into her work. She develops impressive, bottom-line oriented results to organisations she consulted for or worked in.
Wan Leng’s aspiration is to build the future leaders for Asia’s social, economic and political roles. She has assessed, coached and mentored thousands of professionals and leaders, cultivating the potential of organisations and individuals for greater business success and earning her the respect and trust of top management in many leading organisations.
